The Swiss Societies mourn the passing of our long-time member Mr. Max Hess who passed away on September 12, 2020 in Albrightsville, PA. Max and his wife Lydia joined our society in 1994 and became members of the New Helvetic Society in 1997.
On behalf of the Swiss communities we extend heartfelt condolences to the Hess family and May Max Rest In Peace.
It is with sad hearts we inform you that our Life-Member Ken Sturzenegger passed away on June 6th due to complications from brain cancer. Ken joined our society in 2009 and was also a Life Member of the New Helvetic Society.
On behalf of our Board and all Members we extend deepest sympathy to Veronique, Jessica, Leila, Laura and all Friends of the Sturzenegger Family.
Our member Walter Wasem passed away on February 20, 2020 after a brief illness.
Our membership extends deepest sympathy to the Wasem families.
A celebration of Walter’s life is scheduled for Saturday, March 21, 2020 starting at 12:00 PM at the Haddon Fortnightly, 301 Kings Highway East, Haddonfield, NJ 08033.
Due to the public health concerns around the coronavirus, the Annual Meeting has been canceled for this year. An information package will be mailed to all members. Our long-time Member Mr. John Aegerter passed away on July 12, 2019 just short of his 90th birthday.
Our membership extends deepest sympathy to Mrs. Helen Phillips who cared for him for many years.
Our Member Mrs. Dorothy D. Brandenberger passed away on June 4, 2019 at age 90.
Mrs. Brandenberger joined our society in 2007 and was also a longtime member of the New Helvetic Society.
